Atop the Erechtheion, on the sacred rock of the Acropolis in Athens, five sisters stood tall.

Carved from Pentelic marble over 2,400 years ago, the Caryatids — female figures sculpted to serve as architectural columns — have held up the porch of the Erechtheion through wars, earthquakes, and centuries of history. They are among the most recognized sculptures in the world.

But there should be six.

The One Who Was Taken

In 1801, British diplomat Lord Elgin removed one of the six Caryatids and shipped her to England. She now stands in the British Museum in London — separated from her sisters and from her home...from the foundation she was built to support. The Greek government has requested her return for decades, but she has yet to come home. Today, her sisters left a space for her at the Acropolis Museum in Athens, waiting for her return.

What This Means to Us

Our character is not defined by where we stand — but by the strength of the foundation we carry within us.

The missing Caryatid is a tribute to everyone who has been displaced, separated, or removed from where they belong. The missing sister was taken away, and yet she endures. Her foundation, her identity, her purpose, and her strength stayed with her. This foundation was cared into her. People gave her appreciation and empathy despite being carved out of stone. This shows how incredible we are as the human race. We show humility and kindness to those who do not have the ability to do so.

This month, we introduce the Acropolis of Athens Arch.  Collection: the first of our monthly Arch. drops.

It stands as a reminder that home is where you are always meant to be.

A tribute to the cradle of civilization.

A tribute to having humility and humility.

To the idea that character and strength go hand in hand - expressed in stone, in fabric, in the way you carry yourself every day.

The Arch. Collection

Each month, our Arch. drops celebrate a different landmark, structure, or architectural achievement that changed the world. The Acropolis of Athens was our first - available in oversized hoodies, zip-ups, graphic tees, joggers, and waist pants.

Every piece tells a story. Every story teaches us about the importance of having a strong foundation.
